I just did my front brake pads last Sunday. I found Pep Boys had the best price on the Akebono pads I was looking for. $61.99 but they were also running a 20% offer at the time.

Had I not found a good deal on some Hawk pads I got from a member on here, I would have gotten OEM.

You plan on resurfacing the rotors?

I will give them a call. What is so special about Akebono pads?
Any thing special about Hawk pads?

I will have to look at the rotors, if they are scared then i will probably resurface them or buy new ones, which ever is cheaper. If they still look good then i will just throw new pads in there.

Nah I just got a smokin' deal on them. They stop the truck just fine.

I wouldn't replace the pads w/o either resurfacing or replacing, but that's your call. Resurfacing will be the cheaper option as long as they can still be in spec afterwards. I think the O'reilly by me does it for $12 a pop.

Thanks for the info. I was just going to put the 12v outlet.... but would really like both the outlet and the USB outlet with the switch. Thought about building my own, but I hate making electrical connections.

Having the USB's and 12v back there is awesome. I use them to fillet fish, charge my phone, and power a usb light all at the same time.

I see you have that in an excel sheet... should upload that excel sheet so I could take it and use that checklist as well... or add it to my checklist...

Word! Think I am going to go ahead and purchase it along with some other gear I am looking at.

If you want to come to Fort Worth you can use my garage. I need an extra set of hands to mess with my transfer case.
