X2 I used to tow about 2-4x a month now it's like once every other month, which is nice.

So there's two schools of thought in the Carolina bbq game? I wanna try em both. IDD like to try bbq across the entire south for a road trip haha. I've had plenty of Texas bbq. Not sure if I've tried any other states

I thought it was the other way around and NC BBQ is more mustard base and SC is more vinegar base? :notsure:

Generally speaking, SC BBQ sucks monkey ass. GA Q is much better, IMO. But, that's probably my opinion because I grew up in GA and lived there 42 yrs. Mustard has no place on BBQ.

We have a fun BBQ festival that comes summer every year during the Festival of Discovery, BBQ from all over the country. It's hot as hell, but the food is so good.

Never eaten at Maurice's, but their Google reviews pretty much suck, so probably never will.

There is a joint here locally called Smoke House BBQ. They don't put any sauce on their meat and it's some of the best pulled pork around.
