It's fucking impossible. My best stories start with shots of whiskey.
    But not on here...,..

K&N publishes dyno charts that say you do gain a few hp and torque with their intake. Whether you believe a dyno chart provided by the intake manufacturer is up to you. Many people say their butt dyno feels an increase and others say only noise.

i'm pretty good at it, but sometimes i get particularly thirsty. It's nice to have something to sip. I was getting a little softer than usual, haven't drinken beer with the exception of 2 occasions for six weeks.. dropped around 10lbs and back to normal, perhaps it's time to reintroduce beer

Most people on here hate the K&N air filter.
    Personally, I love it.
HP gains? I doubt it. Maybe a little.
Biggest benefit is not having to buy a new filter. Keep it oiled like recommended, don't over do it or the MAF sensor will freak out. I personally think it's a good filter.
A few/lot on here think it's the worst thing you can do to your truck. I disagree for the locationwe live in , it's dry here and the particulates are not as fine as some of the the other states.
But, if you are looking at a dry filter, I see nothing wrong with that either.

Yeah I never had an issue with my K&N either. I switched to an AFE Pro Dry washable because I was given one. Similar filter to the K&N but you can wash it with mild soap, let it dry, and it's good to go. No oil needed. I really love it since I have a snorkel and need to clean it more often.

If you have a change of heart I have a K&N intake for sale that'll fit your truck. I'm much like @Star-Lord in that overall I really liked it. It was just a bit louder than I'd like which is why I took it out.

Not enough room in the garage, but i did open it up. Pleased with the quality of everything so far. I'll post a bit more in my build thread when i go inside later.
