2.5 inch leveling kit

So today I installed a 2.5 inch level kit I bought of eBay think it was just going to make my truck even. And he'll no now I have a cali lift looks goofy so I ordered a 1.5 block lift for the back hopefully it looks ok also ordered the 265 75 16 from direct tire falken wild peak atw3

 

Tires on there are 255 70 16

 

Do the blocks measure 2.5 inches? If so thats more like a 4 inch lift

Blocks are huge.. check your brake lines please before they snap

The spacer it self is 1.5 inch the eBay add said 2.5 inch leveling kit

 

So that's 3 inches.

Just put Fox 2.0's on my front and got a couple inches to help it look even now...Not sure what happened there!

Looking at the pics they look like more than 1.5 inch thick blocks. But.. if they do really measure 1.5, its indeed more than 2.5 net lift.

 

Well it did give me 2.5 inch lift front the floor to the bottom of fender flares before the spacers was 36 inches now with spacer it is 38.5 exactly but my point it that I thought it was going to level my truck not give it this look my front end was saggy that is why I desired to to this

 

So you ordered a 2.5" lift and received a 2.5" lift which lifted your truck 2.5".

A wise man once told me to measure twice, cut once.

 

Put a Toytec AAL in the rear. It's cheap and takes a few hours.

 

Really a bad lift. That stuff is going to give you headaches down the road: crappy/stiff ride, ball joints and tie rods wearing faster, etc.

A replacement coilover is really the only correct way of lifting these trucks.

 

Just added the 1.5 lift blocks in rear and also changed the leaf spring bushings looks a lot better now


Took it to pep boys for alignment and man the duck told me they couldn't aligned properly cuz of the lift I bought unlimited alignments for 5 years $150 awhile back guess I just wasted my money

 

P.s still waiting on the 265 75 16 hopefully that's the right tire size for this budget lift

 

Upper control arms is the only thing that fixes that regardless of what lift you have(besides spindles and drop bracket).

 

Do I need to change my upper control arms
