I was thinking more along the lines of if the registration has lapsed over a year.

I know you'd have to go to the County Tax Assessor and get that all squared away with your proof of insurance and emissions. But I wasn't sure if it would be considered a new registration.

The wording makes it sound like you have 3 months after you get it inspected to having to register it.
