Yes I had both done. I really only needed the bearing kit but if they've got it torn apart you may as well throw in a new clutch

I'm a brewer at 10 Barrel, but I work tomorrow 5 am to 5 pm. Maybe a quick beer after work at the brewpub?

I'm headed to Bend in Oct for a few days. Any suggestions on where to go for drinks/hikes? Any specific go-to places I should plan?

painted hills, paulina peak, smith rock, crooked river if you like to fish, crater lake, high desert museum, arnold ice caves. If you go further east towards john day you have the arrow head fields, hot springs, the big barn, alvord desert, and the steens mountains.

Thank you for all the suggestions! I was totally planning on hitting up Crater Lake on the way there or back, for sure. I've lived here for 22 years and have never been, shameful! I'll write down the rest and look em up!

The company I'm going with enjoys a good drink, also. Bourbon, stouts, porters and the like - I'm a fan of ciders and bourbons, if there are any places around there. There's tons of time, but I saw the thread and figured I'd see what you guys thought would be worth seeing and doing.

Bend has no shortages of brewpubs, i personally like 10 barrels for the food and decent selection of brews. I live in the pdx area but i have family in bend. Unfortunately work doesnt let me choose bend for a local

I know the feeling. I went to Bend for a day a couple of summers ago. Started a new job last October - so taking a week off after a year to explore a bit is definitely in the works. Will scope out 10 Barrels, thanks again!

That party is up at Bachelor tomorrow for the 10 Barrel Hella Big Air!

Check out Dogwood or The Stihl Whiskey Bar for good cocktails and Atlas Cider for... cider.

I was born and raised in Oregon, love the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, etc. It took me to the age of 34 to visit Crater Lake. Embarrassing.

Well, I'm kicking myself in the pants for waiting... that's for sure. If you have a choice, don't wait until October to visit. Just go (wo)man!

    All,

What is your "hop in the truck, semi-rugged trail to a nice destination" that would take 2-3 hours max round trip from bend.
Like, you have an afternoon to kill, you go __________?
    Thanks

I was thinking about taking HWY20 out just passed the Badlands and seeing how far up the canyon to the left I could drive. I think there is a closed sign, but I can't read officer

@TacoJova and I put some new EBC green brake pads and rotors on my 05 today. He is a good dude and lives in Redmond. Maybe this summer we can get a meet up or mod day going for everyone?
