Alabama thread!

They are lazy and won't get out of the car to put packages in our drop box. Instead honk the car at the end of the driveway and if nobody comes outside they take it back to the post office.

had them drop off the "you were not here, will try again, or pick up at post office ticket" while I'm at home waiting on a package

 

I'm on page 7. just saw it got restarted. I know the guys a deutsche bag but don't know if I agree with calling his mom? how did they get his moms number? Yet another reason I don't have any social media accounts, except for this one. oh and I guess I have an account for FB so I could look at certain people. I think I just contradicted myself. up 27 hours now!

 

just keep reading man. you'll get through it. it got a little extreme I'll say, but hysterical and in the end it appears to have worked. hope it all gets solved in the end, and that lessons were learned (on all parts)

you have to keep going on haha. I thought there wouldn't be much after the thread was reopened because there usually isn't but seller actually posted shipping notice. I was surprised.

 

this thread has got me thinking. I'm trying to sell my wheels and tires. have a guy from Nashville that wanted to meet in Athens. I had them at 8 he offered 5. said I couldn't do less than 6 but that would be a 4 hour round trip. he offered 6 acknowledging the travel and asked if it would be ok. I said I still had them posted on craigslist but we tentatively made plans for saturday when all of the sudden he came back with 550. I responded not very friendly and left it alone for a day. I haven't gotten any other offers, until today (go figure) and again he asked about them and we set up a tentative time tomorrow to meet. First, I'm worried he may try and yank me around again after a 2 hour drive, and two is it ok to keep playing the offers? really didn't think about this a lot until reading that other post.

 

personally, I'm entertaining other offers. I'm also lazy when it comes to selling and not willing to drive much more than like 10 miles haha

 

I just got an offer from a guy for the same price, 600. explained to him that was the offer I already and he would have to beat it. he said he was at a dealership and they just bought a Tacoma and needed to dress it up. asked what I needed. told him to give me a second

 

I would entertain that offer. Since the other guy agreed to 600 but is jewing you down. Let the first guy know you have a higher/closer offer that he would have to beat.

 

had to finish that one ^^. I said I wasn't trying to be a prick and needed a sec to get some advice. Just didn't tell him where! he just responded he's not a prick either and he would pay list! $700 . sucks I dropped the price yesterday!

 

My wife is looking at the pics on the first page. Who is the first truck in the line with the swingout? She was asking about the spare tire. I might, might have a new mod she might want.

thought about it but ive had 3 beers and going for number 4. 16oz'ers. hey does our spare have the tpms?

 

I might run and grab some paint before I start drinking, or I might do it tomorrow while I build a shed.
