Just picked up a walk-behind mower for mowing yards this summer.

Its a Snapper Pro 36" walk-behind fixed deck. Not sure how many hours are on it but it seems to have really low hours and is in really great shape. I bought it from a guy off of craigslist for $1k.

So far I have about 10 yards to mow this summer in my subdivision so I needed something to save me time and my legs. My number of lawns seems to keep getting bigger as neighbors are referring me to other neighbors.

Thats the plan. I sharpen the blades quite frequently on my push mower so I'm used to that. My neighbor growing up owned a landscape company so I grew up around commercial mowers and always wanted one. Now at almost 25, I finally bought one.

I pushed a mower around the neighborhood from 10 - 15 yo, if I remember right it was not even self propelled! it was good cash then, how much you get for an average size lawn now?

I usually charge $75 a month. Which is a steal. But the only reason I do that is because its in my subdivision so I don't have any transportation costs.

I used to cut yards when I was a kid too with a push mower lol.

I bought my first car when I was 15 off of money I made mowing grass for several years. I still enjoy mowing my own lawn.

My mom has done landscape maintenance for as long as I can remember. Ever since I was about 12 i've helped her mow lawns in the summer. Now I do my own jobs but Ive switched to backhoes, brush mowers, and chainsaws. I still help her once in a while with the bigger ones she does also for a little extra money.

I also picked up one of these yesterday for some of the lawns I bag. Its an accelerator all aluminum catcher. set me back about $380 but definately worth it due to how lightweight it is.

This is a picture off their website, not my actual mower, but just like it. My grass catcher looks brand new obviously. Extremely lightweight and holds a lot of grass.

I'm considering buying a sulky as well but I think I can wait around for a good deal on a used one.
