Just curious what you, experienced off-roaders and outdoorsy people have in your truck storage? How do you smartly and ergonomically use that space? Speaking about standard space i.e. Glove box,
Armrest box, 2 storages behind rear seats( double cab). 2 storages under the seats and 2 compartments in the bed. Or maybe there's more I just don't know about.
    Lines, axe, fire starters etc.

For now I keeo my tow strap and trailer hitch under the rear seats and tow straps behind the seats. Spare coat is behind the seat also with camp knife and thats about it for now. Eventually I'll lose most of the space behind the seats to add in stereo components like sub, amps and LOC. I dont use the cubby's in the bed since anything will get dirty and wet until I seal them from the elements. Once I decide to seal them I'll store my recovery gear there with locking doors from Mobtown.

Ratchet straps, rags and flares in the rear bed compartments. Jumper cables, blankets and DAC camper shell tent below rear seats. Behind rear driver side seat I keep tire chains, an air pump and a jumper box. I keep a headlamp in the glove box as well.

You think those bed boxes are big enough for some recovery gear? Gotta find some use of those

    Taking inventory...

    At the moment:
Glove Box - Proof of insurance and a NM map I never use because I trust the navigation thingy way too much.
Console - Small flashlight, pocket knife, extra cigarette lighter, spare change, clip on air fresheners, dust rag, a pen and notepad, iphone charging cord, half a bag of Doritos and keys to my trailer hitch lock.
Under rear drivers side - Big flashlight and extra batteries, carton of cigarettes, chamois
Behind rear drivers side - Roll of paper towels, bottle of Windex and a pair of gloves.
Map pocket on back of seat - Ipad so I can watch Netflix when I drive my mother to the doctor and wait 3 hours
Under rear passenger seat - OEM jack and tire tool, ice scraper/snow brush I've never used because I live in the southwest but I bought because I plan to drive to Alaska someday
Behind rear passenger seat - Big-ass woofer from the JBL system that sounds three times better than the JBL system in my Camry for some reason. Think it might be the big-ass woofer.
Drivers side bed compartment. Tie downs and bungee cords
Passenger side bed compartment - Nothing yet.

Do you still have room for more?
    Socket set, tarp, shovel etc.
Just trying to put together some minimum that will help you to survive in the bush and will fit in the space provided by Toyota
