How did you go about getting rid of the chrome end caps on bumper?

 

It came with color keyed bumpers because it has the premium and tech package

 

I still think I like this color is better dirty then clean!

 

He has a white truck though not mgm.

Just installed my pro grille. Got a TRD CAI, rigid fogs, rigid light bar, and a ARE canopy pending install. Gonna take more pics once I get all that installed and get a chance to wash her!

 

Here you go MGM with Bronze wheels. It may have been posted in here before but I'm not going to try and find it. Truck has changed some since the photo but these are all I have with clean wheels. Every other photo has been while I was offroading. They arent the bead locks but the color is very similar.

 

Wow that's clean. I was looking into those rims too. Can't decide between 16" or 17"

 

they painted an orr bridge at work and overspray covered everyones cars in orange specs. time to get a beater to drive to work

 

Ouch...get out the clay bar while its fresh!

 

its 2 days old. im gna test the ol clay bar right now to see what it does. works insurance will cover the fix, but id like to know what will work and wont work before they say how theyll fix it. what a nightmare lol

 

wd40 can also do wonders to overspray sometimes. good luck!

 

New to the site.

I have a repair question. Yesterday I took my 2017 magnetic grey tacoma to a wheel shop and had them put bilstein 5100's all around and new wheels and tire. I will post before and after.

As I was leaving the shop, the driver side tire came completely off and jammed into the wheel well, bending the fender and possibly the door. This may be a stupid question, but for replacing the fender and the door, how is the paint matched, or is there a way to get a magnetic grey fender from Toyota?

Its sitting at the bodyshop now that the dealer told me to take it to.

 

Did the wheel shop refund you all of the money you dropped in there??

 

They are paying for all the repairs as well

The body shop will use the paint code fromToyota to match the existing paint. They will also most likely blend the paint into the adjacent panel to make sure that there isn't a line the the eye can detect. Can't think of a manufacturer that sells painted fenders (smaller items like mouldings or caps may come painted). Good luck.
