I've had good luck with xfinity. I pay $50 per month and get around 250mbps pretty consistently.

Holy fawk. I'd love those speeds.

When I had xfinity there was a friggen outage at least once every 7-10 days. Kind of cripples the home office/business.

Plus in the evening when me and the neighbors were all, more than likely on the internet, my speeds slowed down considerably. Because we were all feeding off the same box (or whatever it is)

Sounds like you had it awhile ago. They are a lot better now and the 250mbps download speed is awesome. I stream Amazon HD videos like a champ to the Samsung 65" wirelessly. And yeah for a home business it is AWESOME. I have had maybe 2 outages in the 2 years we have had them. I just got some work offline done. while it was out.

I've had them for like 3 years in the Littleton area and they have been good overall. The past two years have been great.

At least they said 'show your method' instead of 'you must use common core'. I wouldn't have faulted anybody for not being able to solve it if you had to use core to do it.

All this talk about internet speeds, and most people probably don't know how much they actually use/need. I did the math and watched traffic on our router. Unless you're torrenting or downloading a lot of files, the 25Mbps rate is more than enough for even multiple streaming. It mostly only hits the cap during the first few seconds. I'm not saying nobody needs the higher speeds, or that they aren't nice for quick downloads of large files. Just that all providers do a very good job of convincing you to shell out a fuck-ton more cash for bandwith you will rarely, if ever, use. And they make it seem like a great deal (and it sort of is) since it's usually 'only' another $10 to double your bandwidth and they make up for it by front-loading the first tier.

This is true but we also have the X1 platform spread through out the house with their phone system too. All of that crap takes bandwidth. So it's nice to have the 250mbps.

That's how it comes, haven't made any modifications to it yet... I've got an idea that should work well.

Maybe @teamhypoxia is volunteering to be removed from the site entirely? Or maybe this thread..
