This release is. It won't be distributed. They can ship to anywhere in CA. For whatever reason though they're not accepting online orders to be picked up, for any bottles ordered online. Which is weird because for the Black Tuesday release, you could order online and pick up at the bruery.

Keith works at Terreux. But the funny thing is that we also ran into him at the Bruery before we headed to Terreux. He was dropping off some grapes for a Terreux beer that was being brewed. Got to taste a bunch of stuff straight from the barrel...

Bought a bottle of this tonight...

    image.jpg

Evil Twin Imperial Biscotti Bourbon Maple Syrup Barrel Aged

It was ehhhhh... I just don't think I'm a fan of bourbon aged beers mixed. I love bourbon and I love beer, just maybe not together.

Pretty sweet, but not a good flavored sweet to me... And I definitely taste the heat/alcohol (11.5%).

At $14.99 a bottle, I just haven't been impressed with Evil Twin... I think there are much better brews at better price points.

I did pick up a bottle of the regular Imperial Biscotti Break... I'll crack that tomorrow. And I saw the Doughnut Break up there. Might pick up a bottle of that and the Mas Jesus before writing Evil Twin off completely.

Yeah that's expensive. The only beer I really like from them is Shallow grave which is a porter. I went to their taproom and it was the best one by far and I'm a hoppy IPA guy. Bought a growler I was so impressed. Although I don't think I'd spend $15 on one but I do buy it anytime I see it.
