@Tacodriver08 I got the rear done, it's 2.75" higher than it was. I'm hoping that will settle and be around 2.25" but who knows....

I bought 2 extra strut mounts (top hats if you will) so I have the struts assembled and ready by Monday evening hopefully.

Anyone available Tuesday or sometime this coming week to do the fronts with me? I'm just driving the ratrod 4Runner currently with a like a 5" rear rake, but I'd like to fix that...

 

2.75 damn that's pretty high, put some weight in the back to help the springs settle. I should be free Wed.

 

@Jamart5 Hey did the alignment go ok? Any issues with the UCAs?

As for helping with your build, I can swing by any day but it would be after work and if your in Orange I'd say I could get there by 1830. Not sure if that is too late but we should have at least an hour of light left, unless you have a garage in that case I'm jealous

 

I do have a garage, but it's got a Jeep sitting in it

I'm going to go ahead and get the struts assembled tomorrow when the parts come in, so all that will be needed is to put it on jack stands, pull the wheels, and do the front struts. Back is already completed.

So if you're down for an install tomorrow I'm good. Otherwise Tuesday would be good too. After that, my week nights are busy and it's supposed to start raining.

Any takers for that?

I'll likely be home after 3:00 PM, and run around town gathering the parts until maybe 3:30. So pretty much any time after that.

I'd imagine one of you guys would be more than enough, so if Chris can come then Warren wouldn't need to, or vice versa. After doing this last week with Juan and Chris, I honestly think it's going to take longer to assemble the struts than it will to install them.

BTW, to all the people in this thread (and especially those I've met in person already), thanks for being a friendly and helpful group of people. I look forward to contributing to your builds in the future.
