The best decision I ever made tire-wise with my truck was using BFG for spring/summer/fall and dedicated snows for the winter. I found my snows to be better than the BFGs in the slushy stuff. Part of that was a function of the OR's touchy braking circuit. I hardly ever engaged ABS with the snow tires, but could do it relatively easily with the BFGs.

I'm on Season 4 with my snows and they have tons of tread remaining. The only problem with the snow tires is that they do not come in aggressive tread patterns, so you might have an issue with the truck looking a little goofy. I run 265/70 snows whereas I had 265/75 BFGs. My first set of winter wheels was a set of MB TKOs that were 16 x 8.5 with a -6 offset, so they stuck way out. Those wheels looked great with an aggressive AT / MT tire, but awful with highway tread.

I've been to the old place a bunch of times, but not the new place yet. Couple questions:

How do the acoustics compare to the old venue? The old place was great (except for the sound of someone dropping a bottle on the concrete floor every 15 seconds).

Are they gouging on liquor, or is what you would expect at most clubs? I can usually only talk the wife into going with me if she can have a few glasses of wine. The old BYOB policy worked nicely, but now I'll have to figure it into the "night out" budget.

Yeah I knew he was getting married but I didn't know it was today. I pop in his build/BS thread sometimes but that thread moves at a ridiculous pace so it's hard to keep up with what's really happening

I just picked up a set of Cooper Discoverer AT3s, haven't got em mounted yet but I've heard good things which is what swing me towards them.

    Good Morning,

I know I don't chime in much, but I have the same tires. Always been a BFG guy but tried the coopers. They are awesome so far, even in the rain. They are a little noisy though.

Morning all. Sitting at the dealership for the taco's first oil change. Curious to see how it looks. And I'm running the Falken wildpeak at3 and love them. Quiet on the highway amd handled the snow we've had here in RI like a champ.

    Tell me about it.
Started looking at the "Frustration" saga thread yesterday afternoon. I gave up when I went to re-check it and I was 30 pages behind.

I think that will win "Thread of the Year", unless another epic saga tops it.

I know most of you don't troll on the 50+ thread, but I thought I'd share this. Last nights dinner - started into it before I remembered to snap a photo...

It was warranted though. Seller was a dick. In my opinion, he was out to screw over the buyer. No room for that sort of shit around here.
