    Just my intellectual observation.
Sorry if I assumed you were trying to be more than a grumpy ass.

Good Morning everyone...getting ready to head to NOVA to pickup a Avid bumper/light guard from a fellow TW member. It's gonna be a warm one today so I'm hoping to squeeze in a bike ride this afternoon. I hope y'all have a good day and play nice.

Good morning everyone, rain today but that's okay, it's spring rain. 60* today, yesterday was 75* and sunny, hopefully old man winter is done. Time for some weekend coffee, it just tastes better when I don't have to work.:spy:

I'm going to get something accomplished today.
    Got my rest yesterday .
Need to wash the truck. Used to be white but is yellow right now with all the pollen. Rain skirted by us and just sprinkled.
Oak trees I started last year are looking good. Bigger leaves than last year. Need to find a place to start planting them.
But i want to get cabinets finished on one wall so I can stain that side.

Next week will be crap. Rain and cold and mix.
Maine maple Sunday tomorrow and I won't be going to my buddies place.
Theses meds have screwed up my numbers and can't afford to smell the syrup.

At least i have the weekend off.

Morning all! Missed all of the shenanigans last night, sorry. I was at the NRA dinner. Unfortunately I did not win any guns this year, unlike last years Henry. Spotty showers today - looks like just enough to make the ground nice and muddy. LL Bean boots will be required when I move some more firewood from the pile into the garage later. @Tacoma Mike, we seem to have quite a few new residents down here that are moving in from the Bronx. I'd gladly send them your way! They are chasing the Bridgeport transplants away...

BTW, I forgot to snap a photo when dinner was served last night. But here's what it looked like when I remembered... "Home of the 'ol 96 ouncer"

At least they're moving up your way.
They already infiltrated and polluted this area years ago. Wait till the "city" people want to "change" things.
Very, very FEW natives left in my town.
    (nice chunk of cow,btw)

My Bronx neighbor across the street tapped a red maple and a swamp maple 3 weeks ago and never checked his buckets yet. Swamp and a red???,lol. Guess he thinks he's in the big woods now and the trees will shit out bottles of Aunt Jemammy syrup.

Wife works in the school system - lots of problems now. 6th graders in gangs, even! What's this world coming to. My sister is a teacher in the same school system teaching grades 5 & 6. She had a problem student, brought in mom, and mom said "she doesn't have to bother doing the work, she'll be on welfare"! Really??? The 'system' is that good? Wife is a Special Ed aid. When she started, the kids that needed help were truly Special Ed. Now mostly of her 'crew' are behavioral. There are days she comes home and says she took care of tomorrow's criminals.

Edit: BTW, there was a healthy 1500 at the dinner last night at the Aqua-Turf. They must have had a heard of cows there earlier in the day!
