What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I installed the sso on my truck and it was my first time cutting on the body. Take your time, have the right tools and it's not so bad. The SSO does come with a trim piece to cover the cut as well.

 

Added 6k xenon Headlights and 3k xenon fog lights. Will post pics tonight. Also added Mud flaps and Tonneau bed cover and black lettering on the tailgate.

 

You will have to post a pic or two. My lift is 5 weeks out so I hope everything will roll up at once.

I also installed the Timbren Bump Stops up front a few weeks back to help with the weight.

 

Yes its vinyl, I found a local guy and he free hand cut it. Took him about 40min.

Anyone know if I can tie into the accessory hot on the radio to hook up two 12v to 5v USB for power?

 

Dry verses Oiled Air Filters? Which do people prefer and why? Trying to decide on which one I should get.

 

I've used both and think the oiled works better if oiled properly. However, if you use a little too much oil, it will foul up your MAF sensor. I decided to just use dry and not mess with cleaning and oiling.

 

It won't be in the bed long!

 

Finally got this whole radio knob thing figured out. Got less than $10 invested in the whole mess. Happy with final results.

FYI. I can make these and mail them for $5 a pair if anyone is interested. Tight fit.
