i'm driving a 1st gen PRIUS as a work car...

    back to bone stock.
    my 2008 silverado is having issues. gone for a month because of idiot mechanics..now off to chevy for the warranty work. (it took 3.5 weeks for the idiots to remember the truck is under warranty). as a loaner, they gave me a 1st gen prius. what a turd! slow, and doing highway driving, it doesnt get that fantastic of fuel mileage.

    here is the rub, my wife wants a new prius as her next car. is the 3rd gen waaayyyy better?

    Probably a bit better but the gas might get stuck and you will accelerate uncontrollably up to 70 mph!
