    Okay, you experienced Colorado Tacomaites.....Icon Stage 1 setup, Fox stage 1 or 6112/5160?

    Don't plan to get crazy but want to explore the mountain roads and such here in CO.

    $1500 or so is about the top of my budget.

    I'll be running 265/75s. At this point, not planning on installing a full bumper.

    I'll probably add a 3 leaf wal as well.

    So....thoughts on these three setups. Pros/Cons, etc...

    Time to do some reading. Depends on if you want progressive or digressive suspension. I run Icons and I've never driven a truck with progressive suspension so I don't know any better than what I've got.

    I've done nothing but reading and am just torn. For the kinds of areas we see here in CO, which would be better? For washboard forest service roads, I lean towards digressive but thought I'd get input from others from the area.

    For me I seem to always want a more plush ride on road with the Icons but they perform exceptional off road.

    I like my icons on and off-road
    I haven't been off road a lot
    What I can say is that the ride is so much better than stock.

    I am a Colorado native and have wheeled in this state since 2001. My ICON 2.5 with Resi's have been the best suspension to date. Yes they are expensive. But buy once, cry once IMO.
