I've done that, and tested the results after each recalibration. Having the truck level when recalibrating helps. Lol. I figured that out after the first 2 attempts. It never seemed to get any better so I quit messing with it.

Jumping pins 12 & 4 on the obdII plug iirc.

Edit: it actually talks about that in the PDF you linked. It says you need the "intelligent tester" (I'm pretty intelligent :D or so my mom always says) but then further down, explains how to do it with a check/jumper wire.

 not sure where my mechanic got them. but I havent torn them since so:)

also redid the challenge. added cheesy music because it was super windy. No one needs to hear the result of strong wind and camera mics

if you wire them differently than what the instructions say, they can act as both :)

I removed my sway bar, truck definitely "leans" a bit more going around corners fast, but not enough to make me feel out of control.

Removed my sway bar today while doing front brakes and wow, on road ride is now something I enjoy. Very happy I did it, even with the friends and girlfriend mocking my decision.

Took it off-roading in a little open space and it felt better, nothing mind blowing. I'm sure there's a result there but it's harder for me to notice versus the improved on-road feel that it's mostly subjected to.

Yeah, more sway, but I can adapt to that.

Pretty much stopped into the thread to say thanks to those who did the challenge, it gave me the information to make my decision to try it.

I HAD a sway bar on my DCLB with OME 886. It was literally a go kart. Zero lean ever.

Now without sway bar it drives better. Honestly I've had cars that lean more...

Just wanted to stop in...over a year later with no sway bar, thousands of highway miles and hundreds of offroad, I've had no issues or wrecks and I still enjoy my decision to remove it!
