I just purchased a 2017 TRD Off Road 4x4 and drove to Big Bear. With 4 adults and and baby and 4 bags and couple of other stuff and noticed it felt under powered. What's mods can I do to give it a little more umf.

No real performance mods for the 2016+ Tacoma.

The White Knights will tell you are crazy and there is more than enough power and you are just not driving it properly. Unfortunately at this time there does not seem to be any upgrades but maybe there is some kind of tune around the corner.

Yes, I believe they make it run straight Otto cycle so there's no transition delays when we get the num peddle feeling. Tuned to run premium, raise the redline if you choose. Should be around 315 horsepower at the crank.

Probably mid 280's, I doubt it will change the overall dynamic of a 3.5l but several members have said it's a huge difference.

This thread reminds me of mountain biking discussions about cutting down the weight of the bike.

Then you see the guy posting, and he could clearly stand to lose at least 25lbs, but he's super concerned about how to shave another 2lbs off of his ride.

Anyhow, just mash the gas pedal down a bit further, usually the truck goes when you do that.

Thanks for all the smart ass comments. On a serious note can we get the same throttle response like the 4Runner's?
