Ok, i asked about the bump stops in the rear but what about the front? I've been doing a little more research on the effects of the extra 1" coil spacer and from what i can gather it'll limit the up travel of the shock. If that's true then the shocks would fully compress before hitting the stock bump stop correct? It would seem to me I would need an extra inch or so..... Just looking to see what the consequences are for the extra 1" spacer. I don't want to worry about bottoming out or fully extending the shocks and blowing them out. Can someone give me a little info here? or to the guys that have the 1" spacer, any problems with the flexing of the suspension? I don't plan on doing any heavy 4 wheeling with the lift but i also don't want to worry about issues if i did decide to go off road. Appreciate the help guys as always. (I probably should have researched this a little further before i bought them! lol)

Lol...sorry. Been busy. You should be fine. I've never heard of anyone having any problems with these coilovers once having these top plates in place. light to moderate off road use I'm positive you won't have any issues bottoming out as well. Since you said you won't be doing anything crazy, you'll be just fine I'm fairly certain.

Just wondering if the Dakars are better than the Icon AAL for the back?

The dakars are a whole complete leaf pack and beefy definitely your strongest option. The icon aal is a small leaf pack that is added to your existing stock springs. It's a good option too. It just depends what you are really intending to use your truck for. .....I have an icon aal on my truck.

I really like the ride of my Baja, I just want a little more lift. I pull a little trailer some of times, it sags decently with the little trailer.

Well....I don't tow myself so can't really speak much on capacities and such. However, I'd say that if your trailer isn't anything of too significant in weight. The icon progressive aal will probably be just fine. If that trailer your pulling is a bit bigger and is pretty heavy than the Dakars are probably your answer.

Thanks so much for your time! I will go with the Icon AAl's.

Don't be sorry, you didn't do anything wrong! I was just ringing the doorbell a second time, lol, i knew you'd answer eventually. .... I did notice that @crashnburn in the Baja TX Pro kit + Icon AAL thread installed smaller bump stops for just adding the pro coil overs without the 1" spacer. Though he did say that he got an additional 1.5" of extended travel using new lower profile bump stops, (Sorry, i just saw that now as i was reading his first post.) but I'm not looking for anything above the 2.75". I guess i could max at the suspension while it's being installed and see if it warrants it but your answer definitely makes me feel a little better, thank you.....Curious too are you still looking to add the the 1" spacer?

Yup, I'm absolutely gonna do the spacer hopefully later this spring/summer finally. I just got headers and a pulley for my supercharger so those are my mods for now. But it's coming cuz I do want that extra inch for sure. 2.75 is exactly where I want to be at as well, no higher.

Below is from the "bajaTX Pro" thread, @crashnburn80 . I would expect i need the brake line spacer? and possibly the extended brake line clamp? I checked my progressive AAL's and there isn't any clips or clamps for break lines. The stock leaf pack does have a clamp for the break line on the driver side though. Not sure if that'll be reusable after adding all the extra leafs........one more please, if i add the 1" coil spacer is that taking away the fix for the taco lean? (is the fix in the lower spring perch?) if so i'm guessing i would need a 1/4" top plate spacer to fix?.....Think that's my quota for questions for the day!...thanks..

I believe the the taco lean problem is resolved in the spring itself and if not then the lower spring seat. Every person I have seen that has added the 1" spacer has not added the 1/4" driver side lean spacer.....you will not need to worry about this at all. As far as clamps or extended line clamps....I used nothing like this and have been fine

Ok, when i get a min i'll measure the spring seat on the shocks and see if there's a 1/4" differance, that should answer the question. I'll let ya know, thanks!

@JuanitoBunito what are you going to do for rear springs with an additional 1" lift in the front?

Are you happy with the AAL? I put the TRD Pro suspension on mine and would like to lift the rear a bit to get some rake back.

    @syswalla
The stock Baja/pro lift comes with a 1.75" front and nothing in the rear. I added the icon aal giving the rear a 1.50 lift but also I removed the overload spring. So right now it has a slight rake.

So as my truck sits now, it's 1.50 rear, 1.75 front

When I do the front spacer and raise the front an inch, I'll put the overload back in the rear and raise the rear an inch to keep the rake...

Then my truck will be rear 2.25-2.50, front 2.75 and will maintain a slight rake.

Thanks all for such a great thread!

Question, will adding aftermarket UCA give any benefit to travel? Also what is the biggest tire I can run with this lift, 265/75r16?

    Thank you.

You won't have to worry about a aftermarket uca until you hit the 3" mark. Which with this lift (even if you add the toytec 1" spacer) your still under. So your good there....As far as tires, 285/75/16. You will have to remove your mud flaps and probably have to do very minor trimming to the flimsy plastic along the front inside part of your wheel wells.

The rear spacers/hardware are to allow for the additional rear droop provided by the Baja/Pro kits. The shortened front bump stops are to allow for the additional compression by the oversized Baja/Pro shocks.

Just to be clear, are these typically purchased separately from the Pro kit? Mine did not come with front or rear bump stops, though it did come with one "stepped" black block which I had no idea what to do with.
