What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Got my tires switched over to my pro comp rims! With those 2" spacers those babies are riding wide!

The girlfriend and I also finished securing the wiring harness for my lights

 

Yep! That's exactly why! The two coils are the exact same except their overall length.

 

Did you just go with the regular 5100s in the rear?

 

Mine told me at 10k that I needed new rear brake shoes and I'd have to pay for them. Funny that I have aftermarket wheels and gorilla lugs that take my socket to get the wheels off and I denied the tire rotation. So how did they see my shoes without removing my wheels and drums? Furthermore, why would I have to pay at 10k.
I have unlimited power train for life warranty and I'm voiding it because of them though.

 

Did the math and came to the conclusion that my fridge and shop cart have more horsepower than my Tacoma.

 

Did you have to do any specific adjustments for the wheel spacers, or was it straightforward.

 

What tool do you use to remove the front Toyota logo?

 

Very straight forward, I've got 245/70/16's I had a tiny bit of rubbing on the back of my fender wall when turning in reverse so I just trimmed it back.

I took the grill off and the logo came out easily by pressing in the retainer tabs by hand.

 

@EatSleepTacos - would 884's give a regular cab closer to 3" then?

 

Filled up the tank then drove over to the scale house and weighed the truck in prep for looking at buying a travel trailer. Full tank of gas and me in the truck = 4700lbs.

 

Picked up my "Anaheim Ducks" trailer Hitch cap of metallic black and chrome and installed a locking pin aswell.

 

Test fitted my new wheels with 3/4" Bora spacers. still gotta do the rear I had to trim alittle off of the stack studs otherwise they would hit the wheel

 

Drove it 240 miles and hauled my new bike home

24-186728. I bought mine on Amazon because that's the cheapest I could find it.

I honestly couldn't say for sure. I know 883s are recommended for a regular cab, but I'm not positive how much lift those get since not too many people on here have regular cabs. Your best bet is to shoot Marie from @HeadStrong Off-Road a PM and ask her.
