Totally butchered my switch for my sliding rear window, AFTER I had already done a full tear down of the dash to get the panel below the HVAC controls out. What a pain in the ass. Had to partially reasemble so I can drive to work all this week and wait for a new switch to come in.

What a difference changing some plugs can make, dont know when they were replaced or if they even had been replaced. Truck feels brand new and actually goes for once! Used to floor it to go 30. Pretty simple job just takes a while! If this 16 year old can do it, yall can too.

 

Picked up the materials for my bed/sleeping platform. My local lumber yard saved me some time and cut the 5/8" plywood pieces exactly as I needed (60" x 28 1/4"). The indoor/outdoor carpet glued and wrapped around the plywood will make up the remaining 1/2" in width (57"). Went with two 2x4's per notch versus ripping down a 2x8. Just under $80 for all.

And I made a cardboard template for the cut towards the back outer edges near the tailgate. Just need to wait for some warmer weather so I can make those cuts and glue the carpet down.

One side denso and one side ngk. They have never been changed. That's how they all come from the factory and no one is going to get 3 and 3. How many miles?

Bought my truck yesterday -
today my first mod was to remove the chrome dealer badge -
second was to remove the front mud flaps.
Third - I am thinking of removing either both of the front door, or the single tailgate, "Texas Edition" stars - and the "Prerunner" tailgate label.

Thanks - the badges look cool and I like Texas - but add it all up - especially on black - and it's a lot of bling. (My wife thought they might cause cops to give me a pass. LOL)

 

I hear ya, and for the record. I ripped all of the badges and stickers off of mine and think it looks heaps better.

 

Adjusted rear drums (brakes still suck though), power steering fluid flush, cleaned MAF and Throttle Body, changed rear diff. fluid

 

Finally found a color matched grill

 

Finally pulled her out of the garage!
Been about 3 months, Ran her through the gears, 2hi, 2low, 4hi, 4low, then locked.
Had a photo op with the lil sister lol.

 

Ordered myself a kicker hideaway today!
