It's something hard I learned long ago as it was by many of us on this thread. Buy the best you can and take care of it. In the long run it costs less and is head and shoulders more reliable.

Nice. I have the same but craftsman. i use it to clean the boat after I go into infested lakes and I'm going to go somewhere else.

The nets we use dipnetting Copper River are $120+ and we lose 3 or 4 a year. We've tried all kinds of jug floats, etc, but nothing works in the current; the size that would be necessary isn't feasible. It's become an accepted cost.
