Go ride some roller coasters on the boardwalk, the lighthouse beach is pretty awesome, there's some cool bars right there in the downtown area too.

 

Very good local breweries include Humble Sea (westside), Discretion (41st in Capitola/Soquel on the east side), East Side Brewery (english style pump ales). very good BBQ brisket, chicken, ribs, pulled pork at Mission St BBQ or Aptos St BBQ (same owners).

 

Tepui is there and Discretion brewery is right next door.
