So I'm only 18 but had always wanted a Tacoma, I bought this truck about 7 months ago with 122k miles on it. It's a super white 2010 extra cab I've always wanted to do a build thread my stuff is pretty slow as i still go to school and not working every season throughout the year. I will be updating every time I put something on new. So here it goes!

    MODS:
    MotoFab 2 Inch Leveling Kit
    Black Painted Emblems
    Plastidipped Grill
    Pro Comp 31 Series Rims
Spec D Tuning Black Projector Headlights
    Pioneer AVH-X2800BS Deck
    Stubby TRD Antenna

    WISH LIST OF MODS:
    Bilstein 5100 shocks all around
    OME Coils 887
    SOS Concepts WIY Bumper
    Custcargrills Mesh Grill
    265/75R16 Muds
    Color Matched back Bumper
    1.5 Inch Wheel Spacers
    Retrofit Headlights
    Dark Window Tint
    American Flag Sticker
    Weather Tech Floor Mats
Custom Trd Offroad Stickers on bed

How he's sitting right! (the names Lance by the way)

This is what he looked like the first day I got him. Pretty stock guy only used to haul is motorcycle in San Jose, never off roaded.

First thing to come off was the OEM nerf bars, don't like the chrome or the look then the mud front mud flaps. Also same day I put in a Motofab 2 inch leveling kit. Didn't have the funds for new shocks and lift coils and don't offload much so it fit my style for now!

Next was the radio, usually not a big touch screen guy but this is a great system especially for bluetooth with calling!
    IMG_1514.jpg

Next was the rims, I liked the looked of the pro comp 31's so ordered em up! But the company ended up sending two wrong rims but finally got them and installed! Also that day i put on the TRD stubby antenna

Then we took for a 12 hour drive down to LA to pickup a rhino for my brother, peep it in the background
    IMG_1617.jpg

I was tired of the chrome so I decided to plastic dip the badges but it came out shitty so i took them off and painted them. Along with taking the SR5 badge off

Then it was time for some snow fun on the mountain!

Next was to get rid of the ugly stock headlights, wanted retros but couldn't afford so went with the wannabes
    IMG_1747.jpg
    IMG_1749.jpg

Then I ordered a grill from customcargrills, but still working on it, will edit when i have it on!

Good idea, I read up on your thread, you get a 2wd or 4wd? and I'm all about saving money, people always say ya gotta go big or go home but you can find some good deals that work great without spending thousands on your truck!
