I have the tall 7 gallon ones like these:

    IMG_7454.PNG.jpg

Then got these 7 gallon ones.

    IMG_7455.PNG.jpg

    With this:

    IMG_7456.PNG.jpg

Colder valves fittings. Check valve at the bottom of the stem. I need to make 2 more of these stems and shorten the one I have for the new setup. When one runs dry, I can easily switch to the next one without spilling water. They were connected to an on-demand 1 gpm Shurflo pump. Another valved panel- mount fitting at the rear with a sink- sprayer setup. Flip the switch and it pressurizes to 30 psi. Then use the sink sprayer like the one at home.

    IMG_7458.PNG.jpg

Then I got 2 of these, which I don't really need anymore.

    IMG_7457.PNG.jpg

Going with more small containers. Easier to handle. I can just unscrew the stem and screw on a spigot at a campground where the kitchen setup is away from the truck.

REI. Grabbed the only 2 they had at the Concord store. I'll try to pickup another tomorrow in Dublin or just order them online. Plenty of dividend left...

Fine. I'll put on my big boy pants and venture outside of the NorCal section.

Two tall 7 gallon ones are up for grabs. One has shit all over it from sitting at the fabricators shop. Only one spigot/ cap.

Back to the DMV today to try and get the truck registered. Went Friday after getting smog done. Dmv told me I had to pay $2777. Yes almost 3k to register it unless I could prove I paid taxes on it. So now I've got the papers for that. Just gotta get it weighed. Any suggestions on where to go?? I remember someone said they work for a place that can do it, just don't remember who it was

Yup, was me. @duncnasty you might want to take your tent off and have close to a empty tank. Your registration and insurance will take the weight of your truck into account. The heavier it is the more it will cost you. Welcome to CA . Before noon on the weekdays I can hook you up. PM me or text if you still have my #

Cool. Fucking showoff. LOL. Yeah, those fist tall ones suck. I have the large cube tube you hooked your pumps system up to. One in the trailer, and one in the truck for on the trail and backup supply. Fits perfectly in my teardrop between my fridge and a bulkhead, and when I am in camp I can just rotate it down 90 to spigot mode in gravity. Like this:

But yes, heavy as fuck and unwieldy when you need to fill them from who knows what source and lug them back to the rig.

Yep they are heavy 45lb each on the plus side they are cheaper now from a bazillion to a trillion dollars each. But going from 16" wheels to 17" wheels I'm going to need new tires at the same time so here goes $3K

You guys should come up North to get some golf on, then we can hit up some breweries afterwards.

I suck at golf, so at least I'll make you all look good!

I think all of the containers, aside from the ones purchased yesterday, cost about $75 or less, and that was over a 9 year period. That Partner stove you got there though... show off ;)

Nice teardrop! Ever thought of throwing your stock Tacoma springs on there and making it EAF?

    IMG_7461.PNG.jpg

Seems like springs, tires, and fenders is all you would need.
