No, we wear a very different uniform with a similar camouflage pattern. We don't have the Velcro crap everywhere.

As for the Army's stupid rules regarding Disco Belts and saluting in PT gear, blame Army commanders downrange. We never did that shit on straight AF bases, and it isn't done stateside.

The Army makes idiotic rules for the lowest common denominator - ITSELF!

Sure... That's what the commies told you to say :spy:

    But I'm married to Stonewall

Yeah, I might be a hillbilly heathen but I never had a hankerin to marry my sister

Fucking commies and their finger traps!

That's why these sites don't work for me
I gotta be friends with ya first. Then I decide if I wanna torture you for the rest of your life or just shoot you. And I don't mess around with flings and casual dating/sex. If I try to hook up with someone, it's on the account of I could see myself annoying the hell out of them for the rest of my life :D

Yeah, for a while @Tractorman was practicing use of Chad's "like button techniques" and now he done gone AWOL

Lots of people say friendship first before anything happens. Why do you think the GC hasn't moved up in status first? Imma need to make sure we can be friends first.

Also, that was surprisingly romantic, Kevin. Any girl would be lucky to be tortured by you for the rest of her life.

Here's a story for the ages. 100% true.

I met my wife after a horrible day of work on a Friday the 13th. The kind of day that, when it's over, you don't want to be around people but don't want to be alone either. Didn't feel like midnight chow (worked swings) so I went to the NCO club. Scarfed a sammie, started talking to a lady friend (platonic - her husband was in my unit) and was looking for a chair when a voice behind me said "you can have this one."

So...I sat on her lap and continued to have my conversation. Didn't even wait for her to get up.

After about 30 seconds I proclaimed "how rude of me!" I introduced myself...then continued my conversation with the other lady for about another minute.

I offered to buy "lap lady" a drink, and she accepted on the condition I buy her mother one too. We danced, we talked, she gave me shit, I gave her shit...I was in love that night.

We married on a Friday the 13th too. VERY lucky day in the America household.

And yes, she is "Miss America" still.

If she can put up with a guy that works "too much," treats trucks like living beings, has no fashion sense whatsoever, and tells really shitty jokes.
Well my Dad is the same, aside from the treating trucks like people, anyways, and my parents are about to hit 30 years married, 35 together. So I guess there's hope- If I actually leave the comfort of the garage for once and venture out into the wild.

That's crazy about the Friday the 13th! Did y'all plan for your wedding to be a Fri 13, or was it a co-inkydink?

Planned it. A Desert Storm/Southern Watch deployment interrupted one wedding date, but fortunately there was another Friday the 13th later that year we could get married on. Worked out perfectly, and I managed to get custom wedding rings made when I was in Saudi (the Sri Lankan jewelers were amazing). Score!
