I gave up on actively looking. Actively looking got me two dates. On one, I got stood up, waiting at the restaurant for 45 minutes looking dumb as hell sitting on my tailgate with my dad's borrowed button-up shirt on, and the other got me a clingy psycho that pretty much hated everything I do. Can't tell me I can't catch frogs and eat squirrels,and tell me to stop working so I can stay on the phone for hours on end, practically saying nothing the whole time. I hate that

I hate diet soda. They taste like crap. And that fake sugar is a commie plot to kill us all

I hate hate HATE Al Udeid. The world's largest American prisoner of war camp.

The only time we wore the same camo was the pinks (DCUs) - that yellow monstrosity. Since adopting the ACU in 2008 the Army and Air Force have worn different uniforms.

Saluting in PT gear is the stupidest thing the Army ever did.

Side story - I saluted a LCDR (I was a MSgt) coming out of the CAOC compound as I was going in, and he said "thank you" while returning what was the sloppiest ass excuse for a salute I'd ever see. I chewed his ass right there. "It's a sign of respect, not a present. Don't EVER thank anyone for a salute - simply return a good salute!"

Ended up getting called on the carpet before the JFACC and Command Chief...and presented a coin.

 

The last woman I went out with before I met my wife was the epitome of loony. We went out one time. I knew that it was a mistake 10 minutes into the evening. I cut the night short as diplomatically as possible and went home. Next day my phone was blowing up. Call after call after call....I was busy, so I didn't answer. After about 20 calls, I WOULDN'T answer. I was mowing my yard on a Cub Cadet rider. I looked up and here comes psycho bitch across my lawn in her Ford Escort, trying to run over me. Luckily, a neighbor summoned the police and they got her locked up and away from me. Her dad came and got the car. He told me she was nuts. I didn't need him to tell me.... She continued to stalk me until I got a protective order and her family took out a mental inquest warrant on her at the same time.

So yeah, I've seen crazy.
