What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally settled on a roof rack. I Installed the Front Runner Load Bar kit.

Put in "white" side marker lights, not really what expected, I'll take better pics at night, but also go the chain hooked up in the back for the dogs!

Just got word from the sales rep at Relentless that the weld on sliders I ordered back after Thanksgiving are about ready to ship!

Time to buy some self etching primer and bedliner... And call my mechanic to give him the heads up that he needs to get his torch ready.

Painted my grill emblem, and had my local auto shop weld on my cherry bomb vortex muffler!

I'll get a sound bite of the new muffler on here soon

It's gonna be a work in progress I bought it without the bed.

 

Lol yeah this was my work truck for 4 years about 10 years ago.... before I moved on to another job.... it's a great truck we plan to buy a camper and this will be perfect for that..!!

 

So I put the normal 1/4" spacer under the drivers front shock mount to level from side to side. It looked like the factory nuts for the 3 mounting bolts don't have a lot of thread contact. They have about 3/16" of the bottom of the nut don't have threads on them. Do others install a standard nut and washer on those to get more threads.

 

I honestly didn't even bother with the spacer, and I had no visible lean. I'd only worry about it if you can tell with the naked eye that there's a lean.

 

I grew up in Morgantown, WV. Pittsburgh was always the "Big City" to us.
