Sell it while it still hasn't been bashed. Cut your losses now. I'm pretty sure there are Mall Crawlers that would bite on it.

From what I've learned about you and your son this weekend, you guys definitely aren't the mall crawling types.

I'll be honest, this past year I bought truck stuff, used them and then sold them, because I learned along the way.

Hell, I bought stuff and then turned around and sold them completely new because I impulse bought 'em.

This is a whole new learning curve. And sometimes it cost you some cash.

    But damn it's fun!!!!

If you want to recoup most of that, sell it before you beat it up! You might even get what you paid for it if you throw it up on Craigslist.

I would say my personal opinion here on the bumper is it would look real good if it was on a taco with sas and 2 or 3 feet of lift, or a truck on a homestead that had to push cattle from time to time, it really isnt a terrible looking bumper like Lloyd said it follows the lines well, just maybe a little too jay leno chin for a 3 inch lift and rock crawling

OK went and looked under truck just now. The only damage is to the front skid. Near the rear of it. Other skids real scratches. The LCA had some scrapes. But nothing to the bumper any where. But I'll see if I can post on Craigslist. But not promising.

I'm gonna do the suspension. And I'm gonna wing from there. But I'll put some feelers out on the bumper. See where it goes

Listen to Floyd @Braves95 . He bought ALUMINUM skids first, without asking anyone. Monumental fuck up.

I also bought new shocks. Used them one trip and sold 'em and got another different set.

Got AAL's, sold em again and got Dakar's.

Got a front recovery bar. Sold em after getting a plate bumper.

Got new coil springs. Sold them. Didn't even install them. Needed higher capacity coils because of heavier new plate bumpers.

    All within the past year.

    Learn from my errors.

Had to add a few more for effect. There are actually a bunch more fuck-up purchases, but I agree with you, the aluminum skid purchase was THE most monumental fuck up.

I'd be very curious to see what the profile on that bumper will be once the truck is lifted. If you can, put a floor jack under the IFS skid, and lift the front of the truck 4.5" that's about where you'll be with a 3" lift. Measurement from center of hub to bottom of fender opening should be about 21".

Then take a picture from the side and front.
