My '07 Taco is having this chirping issue. Any ideas on how to bring it up to the Service department and sound knowledgeable of the problem? I feel kind of stupid saying there are crickets in my glovebox.

I am trying to get them to sort it out, as I don't have the tools to do so myself. I feel like Toyota will be in a giving mood, trying to keep customers happy.

    Thanks!

Mine is squealing at a high frequency in fan settings 1 and 2. I'm getting it warrantied on Wednesday.

At 2150kms (for the metric challenged members that's 1335.94 miles) I am just hearing a chirp on the low setting gonna bring it in,and get a few things looked at, I will post back with my results.

They listened to mine at 1500 miles and ordered a new motor on the spot. It was replaced the next day. I hope this one stays quiet.

I just installed a new blower assembly from TYC. It looks exactly like the original and doesn't make the annoying chirping sounds. Here is the link:

    http://www.logical-source.com/2005-TOYOTA-TACOMA-11965.html

Best part is that it is less than $50.

The switch was really easy. Just remove a couple of screws and the electrical connector and put the new one in place.

Thanks for the link, let us know how you like it over the long run. I may have to get this to replace my ticking noise in my blower motor.
