Ok guys heres my question. I have the 2nd gen 5100s set at the 0 setting and the OME 888 coils, LR UCAs, 5100s in the back, and headstrong 3 leaf AAL, driver side 1/4 in taco lean spacer. Initially i was sitting at around 24 from hub to fender on all 4 corners. Since then and when this picture was taken I've added 10K miles, RCI sliders, a full set of aluminum IFS, transfer case, and transmission skids and sit at about 23.1 inches hub to fender up front. Im about to add a CBI aluminum T3 bumper.

What should I do to get back to leveled? Should I switch coils to maybe OME 886, bump the 5100s up to the 0.85 setting, or add top plate spacers? Thanks in advance.

@HeadStrong Off-Road maybe you have some advice as I purchased my lift from you.

Spacers would be the least expensive, and would accomplish the height, but if you find the front end to soft with the extra weight, then i would try to add preload bumping up to .85 to help with the weight. These two methods would be the most cost effective, if you decide to get the 886 springs, it will surely give you the extra weight carrying capacity but you still might be short on the height to get back to your 24" height, i am sure your 888 springs could easily be sold.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm currently on the 2nd gen 5100's and 888's. I've purchased a warn winch and waiting on my Demello bumper to be built. So I was also considering going 886 and bumping up a notch.

Well I'm picking up my bumper tomorrow and installing the bumper and winch on Saturday. I'll decide from there.

Bumper is supposed to ship on Friday. Once I get it on and measure ill make a decision. Since its warmed up ive noticed that the rake isn't nearly as bad. IDK why but it seems like the front end sits about .5 inches lower when its freezing cold outside

Nice! I'm looking forward to seeing pics.... I decided to go with the OME 888 Springs on 2nd Bilstein 5100s set at 0, 1/4" top plate spacers on both sides, and the OME Trim packer on the drivers side....

and I'm going to see if I am satisfied with that height and go from there

So What was the Verdict? Notch at 0 with spacers? or did you bump up to next notch?

Any update on it yet? I’m thinking of doing the same wondering if anyone in this old thread came to conclusion?

I did bilsteins set to 3rd notch with 1/4” top plate spacer. Risky, from what I’ve heard, to have that much preload on the springs (Ome 888) but I have tan it for 6 months now with no issues off-roading. I can now clear 315/75/r16 with a steel front bumper, winch, and roof rack. Just installed the icon RXT to get the rear jacked up.
