I find myself wanting to know how far I have climbed and what my altitude is when in the mountains. I can not seem to find this anywhere in the Nav settings or mini display in the dash. Is there any way to display you altitude?

Such a shame. My 2009 JK had that feature. The Nav was such a POS, but the altitude sure is nice in CO.

I am an altimeter nerd. I love knowing elevation. Part of that is because I live at 44' and have mountains behind my house that have roadways over 6000'. When I'm traveling, I always have the GPS (Garmin) set to show elevation in one corner.

The factory nav sucks anyway. Even a cheap Garmin is exponentially better.

Pretty sad that Snapchat has an altimeter, but our trucks don't.

Yeah, I have been using my Garmin watch to show me the elevation. It works, but I still feel that Nav is capable of it, but it just down't have the option to display it. Maybe in a future update?

Yeah, Fenix 3. It works really well. I just wish there was an option to keep it on the altimeter mode. It goes back to the clock after about 2-3 minutes.

Uh, do you have a phone? Download a GPS app. Use the elevation from that.

Yeah, I have a phone... I just wanted to have the reading on my Nav display. This comment go me thinking that this can totally be an update to the Nav if they wanted. We'll see...

GPs's in automobiles a such a disappointment. My $200.00 dash mounted garmin is light years better and easier to use than any GPS that has come in any of my vehicles. And, I or my passenger can make changes while moving.

I agree. Voice recognition on mine is terrible too. I use Siri on my phone when it is paired to my truck and it works great. Does anyone else have issues getting the Nav to understand what you are saying?
