    if I'm not mistaken pre runner and 4X4 hubs are different.prerunners have a big nut on the back.the 4X4 uses the axle nut to hold it all together.

    Cool. A guy in my class was saying that he is going to use an aftermarket 4x4 hub on his 4x2......I wasn't sure it would work. I know the knuckle/spindle does, but not sure the hub assy. does.
