I am not sure exactly what they use yet, still under 5k miles, but have my first "free" service coming up and will try to get them to change the oil, and possible install this. If not I will change the oil myself in the next month or so. If I remember correctly from reading around TW, it is the replaceable.

 

But I have a guard dog....

 

Any of you guys with long commutes listen to audio books? I got placed on a project well into downtown Boston so my commute officially sucks ass. I'm considering audio books to try and take my mind off the fact that I'm wasting hours of my life that I will never recover. If anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears. I've never listened to them before.

 

Where is the new one.
I go to the Leominster one ,It's sortof near where I work, You can never have enough Tractor stores!

 

Hour+ commute each way. I usually bump music though. What else is the sub I put in good for? For road trips I do like audio books. They really melt the miles away. Lord Of The Rings should get you a few months. Game OF Thrones too. Isaac Asimov's Foundation series if you like Sci-Fi

Edit: From what I understand, it's more about who is reading it than what they are reading. A bad voice actor will ruin the best book and vice versa.

 

They don't change the oil at 5k, just rotate tires. You've got synthetic with a 10k service interval

 

I can't imagine if be able to pay the attention I usually do when reading a book.

 

Yeah that would be my problem too, but it serves a different purpose. So you could still read the books you want, and put some trashy pulp porn novel on audio book just to help the commute.

 

YA, I know. But I am going to try, I think the first oil change needs to be early. After that 10k no problem.

The new one just opened in Millis, MA and it's literally about 2 miles away from my house.

I hate reading and, as far as attention span goes, I agree with you. Normally, I would rather pay attention to driving but when I'm only moving 5 MPH, there's only so much skill that type of driving requires...
