Besides that, 14.2 ain't so cool. It may be ok (not ideal) for strictly stock loads, but not beyond that. When we add aftermarket stereos, amps, lighting, etc, an alt putting out only 14.2v will struggle to keep up. This will show up on long drives, at night with headlights, heater and windshield wipers and stereo running.

 

I'm not 100% sure that I even need the spindle/knuckle but I definitely need the control arm. We're trying to determine that. The dumb thing is, when I SASed my '99 Taco, I still had all of this laying around. I can't' imagine throwing any of it out, but I had a kid do some cleaning around the warehouse last year and I'm starting to think that he pitched it all in the metal bin from the salvage yard. I found the steering rack yesterday but can't locate any of the rest and it was once all together.

I've got good bushings and a good through bolt. Hmm....

 

Well i can grab it next time in in powell over easter. Mail it to you if ya want. idk if that time line will work for you...but if it does. Be happy to send it your way.

 

Easter! Not sure I can be that patient, but we'll see. I wanted to get the frame straightened, but my body guy says he wants all of the other bent components replaced before he straightens it, so that he can find "space" in the "frame's universe". I thought he was kidding. He looked at me straight faced with his arms crossed and one eyebrown up. I laughed and said ok.

Looked at SPCs but they're like $450, but not sure I'm wanting to lift it and if I do, I'll probably go SAS again, so I don't want to spend much on OE parts just so I can get the frame straight again. I'll keep you posted tho.

one of the LBJ bolts broke from my first experience with LBJ issues. Meant to extract it and gusset them and add new wheel bearings for my offroad rig Frankenstein. Just never got around to it.

So back in Casper. Nice to be back actually. Got a Uhaul from Douglas today, loading up the house and moving it all to Denver, then turning around and have to me in Williston ND by Monday...I don't get paid enough lol.

 

Between Denver since March to Houston last week to straight up here I am losing track of where I am living lol. Ya hoping the rest of the move goes smooth and can be done with it all.

On that note, at least im not stuck in the office.
