    we need to do MJT soon as I believe it's opening back up in April sometime. Will be interesting to see how it's changed over the last few months that it's been closed for winter with the weather we've had.

    I'm not sure, there's a couple little creeks that you have to cross (they're probably a bit bigger now after the rains we've had) but I'm not sure where they feed into and whether or not you can fish there. Would be curious myself to find out though.

    As close as MJT is to the Lower Owens I'd say just keep going north till you get in the the eastern Sierras. The scenery is unparalleled
