Yeah I was trying to avoid having to upgrade UCA's so I think I'm going to go 885s with either a wheeler's 1.5" AAL or a Icon progressive AAL. It won't be perfectly level but I think I could live with .5" of rake. It'll be probably 8 months before I can do it anyways so I'll just buy in pieces.

That's the setup I had, except a 2" AAL. I promise you'll love it! If you want other angles of the truck, let me know.

Those were 285/75r16 Cooper MTPs. Great mud tire for the price, but if I could do it over I'd buy some Cooper Maxx instead.

read some where that that style of CAI is prone to water hitting the MAF while its raining/snowing. I think the threads were a little dated, have they change anything to prevent this from happening?

Have you done any work recently that involved unplugging the battery or the Guage cluster?

What a great job someone at YouTube has - after a video is flagged such as your situation they watch your video, then watch the copycat, then delete the copycat's after they determine it was in fact a copy. They literally get paid to watch YouTube videos all day...

Oh I like that! If you don't mind sending some more I'd appreciate it. Honestly my biggest hold up is tire size. I just got some new 265/75s Toyo AT2s in Nov and worry that they might look too small with a 3" lift all the way around and don't want to pay for the lift and not be satisfied because my tires look too small. haha It's a never ending cycle of mods!

You're going to wear out the tires before to long. Get the lift you want, deal with the tires when you have to.

Remember that even with a 3" lift you may have to trim for 285's.

You make a good point about the 285s. I read where alot of people have to trim to get a 285 to fit.

I definitely had to trim. I did a CMC, hammered the pinch weld and trimmed some plastic. Worth it to me though to not rub, and it's not as bad as you'd think. The hardest part is finding someone to do a CMC.

Here's some pics of when my truck had 265/70r17s on it. I bought those tires, then lifted it, then regretted the smaller tires and bought the 285s. It's not a bad look at all with the 265s, but I think a big part of me wanting bigger is because I had 17s with a lot of "open space" in the wheel, so it made the rubber look smaller than it was.

Maf is sealed by its own o-ring. It was a little tricky to get it to seat properly. It looked seated fully from the front, but if you actually look at it the backend wasn't seated fully into the cold air. When I received this, it there were watermarks inside the tube. But the previous owner had used it with a torn hydro shield and torn filter. I can very easily imagine how the maf could get wet and engine hydrolocked by improper installation. I repaired the filter and bought a new hydroshield (sock) and was going WOT in rainstorms for the past couple of days. As of yet have not had any issues. It's also not as loud as people have stated but that could be because of the multiple layers of insulated tape I used on the interior pipe. Sounds fuckin great and I feel like it pushes a through the higher rpms with a little more ease. Had I had the money I would have gone trd cold air and snorkel. But $750 is a little high for my needs. Hope that helps.

    Opinions, please.

Last week I installed these Hella Supertone horns. I used the factory mounting locations; same as the originals.

Today I noticed that the horns show through the grill. My question is, does it look ghey that they are off-centered, or should I move one farther to the other side for some symmetry?
