Yeah after looking at that place I'd think if you didn't have them you'd then be needing a tow truck

I need to go there. When I finish getting these skids squared away I think I will. The videos make it appear to pretty much just be dirt roads but I'm sure there's more to it than that

Its really tame and there are different ways up. A car can make it up. If you take union springs rd up, its fun. I only messed up my truck because I hit a branch and it blew out my headlight housing. So waiting on a used ebay headlight since a new one is really expensive through Toyota.

Jaylin, ( I probably mispelled that) Kyle, you guys feel free to jump in. We know your time is some what limitted being in college and having school work but this doesn't have to be left to the old guys your input is welcome

I thought you didn't get TV what channel? Dimestore lives around Richmond you ought to be able to hook up with him pretty easy for the tire

    So honesty time @chiefcrunchy

On a scale of 1 to 10 how do you rank flagpole for degree of difficulty? And on challenge/skill level to run any and all parts of it, including off chutes and such?

Yeah, they're staying silver. Definitely best thing I've done to the truck lately.

Ummm..................................................... I kinda want to say yes. But my skids, bumper, and sliders aren't ready yet.

    Also, 32's... and open diffs...

But mainly the first reason, cause I'm still probably crazy enough to try. Or stupid.

Honestly, even on Union Springs, some wheeling experience could get you up there in a locker equipped PreRunner. I went down Switzer when I left Saturday and it was actually a nice little trail with some awesome scenery, plus the lake at the bottom. Which was awesome because I had no idea it was that awesome. And there's loads of camping down there. I'm definitely going back there.

I know you don't know anything about my wheeling experience, but other than it being rough as shit (to me because I'm on stock springs/5100s on the top notch), it's pretty tame to me. You can make it a little harder, and there's some spots/lines to play a little depending on which way you run it, or if you want to turn around an backtrack over an obstacle.

Perhaps we'll organize a dy trip with you as the leader since you've been a couple of times. Did you contact TacoCat about the Kings he's selling?

Yeah, I was trying to get a gauge on experience in here. I've run flagpole before when I first moved up here... almost 3 years ago now.

Skill wise I'm there, armor wise I'm not ready.
It looks about 2 levels higher than one of the trails near Morgantown.
That being said, maybe by the end of the summer I will be armored enough.
But I'm not scared of some trail rash.

I've been on Rubicon in a 79 Ford Econoline van on 1 tons and 35's but I wasn't driving. The only 4x4 experience I have is the sand dunes in my old F250. There you just haul ass and dont stop until you're on level ground, lol
