Today I decided to go try 27 PSI in all tires which really makes a HUGE difference in ride quality over the 29 PSI stated on the door sticker. It rides really ruff at anything over 30 PSI and the handling suffers at anything under 25 PSI. I may go back to 29 PSI just because the tires look low at 27... I tend to run about 10-18 PSI on trails, depending on terrain. All this may change once I get new tires in a couple weeks. It never ceases to amaze me how much a small change in tire pressure effects everything.

What air pressure are you guys running for DD/Street use or trail use?

it varies if you have differnet wheels and tire sizes.

Best way is to do the chalk test to figure out what your truck takes.

For instance, with an 8'' wide wheel and 12.5'' wide tires...32psi is where i go to get even wear.

My other truck is around 40psi. Skinnier tire and wider rim.

    27 seems pretty low.

Low tire pressure makes a big difference though in ride, but too low and it can feel floaty at high speeds and increase wear and tear plus not wear even.

Yea, the Chalk Test is one good way or if you have a good scale you can do the math to get the "ideal" pressure for tire wear. I'm not too worried about wear on my current tires. They will shred from dry rot before the tread wears out. Once I get new tires I will care more about wear.

I ran 30 psi on my new 31" tires (28 in the rear). I checked the tread depth after 6 months, and they were wearing more on the outside than the inside. So I switched to 34/32 psi. Still rides nice (good quality tires and suspension)

Get the NGK aftermarket set... Great quality and much cheaper for the whole set of three

The stock wires are made by Sumitomo if you feel like you need to track them down instead though.

Also my LBJs came in today and apparently I did not need to order bolts as they came with them. So now I've got spares I guess.

Gave "WhistlePig" a good wash and wax..cleaned her interior as well. While washing her wells i noticed her flaps were slack, so i snugged her bolts up with a wrench.

I had my LBJ's replaced in 2010 under that recall Toyota had. That was at 180,000 miles and now I have 253,000 miles. So I've been shopping around for OEM. I've seen Concelli, Camelback, Toyotapartznet.com and 1 other website. Do you need to do the bushings on the LCA's too? I see the 01-04 3.4 4x4 LBJ's & bushings are more expensive than the 4 cyl 2wd's

Yeah I saw the uppers can be a PITA, I imagine going to be even more difficult with my spindle gussets on too from what I've seen in videos. It seems like the one is actually in decent shape but the other is definitely shot. Going to see how much it is for the machine shop to put those in too while they are doing my bearings. If it's $20-30 more then it's worth it to have them do it.

yea you should think about doing them soon.

2wd trucks have totally different suspension setups. At least the 5luger 2wd ones do which is what that is refering too. You'll want the 4wd ones.

That said, OEM bushing replacement means replacing the entire LCA as the bushings don't press in and out.

You can burn them out and press them out then install While Line 4runner LCA bushings though. Much cheaper but much more involved on the install. But not terrible. Good Saturday job.

At 250k id do the LCA bushings, im sure they are near if not already dead.

You don't have to do the bushings, and if you do decide to I would go with the Whitelines rather than press in new rubber.
