    Hey all,
Narrowed my search down to a few trucks and one is located in Ohio. While its a good deal I'm worried about the salt winters up there.

Anyone have first hand experience on modern Toyotas up there?
Do vehicles rot as bad/quickly as they used to?

Truck is 2014 with <40k miles on it so Its seeing its third winter now.

My 2015 has almost 35k on it and nothing out of the ordinary, but I run it through a car wash that sprays the underside about once a week.

Depends on if it was taken care of . I'm upstate NY , lots of salty winters . 2008 with 96000 miles , minimal surface rust because I washed all the time and got under it with a rattle can of flat black rust reform paint .3 winters in Ohio , it shouldn't be too bad .

Awesome. I appreciate the feedback. Asking for some photos of the underside from the dealer so if those come clean tomorrow then I'll go pick it up this weekend and drive it back.

I didn't get past the thread title, assumed you were in Ohio. It's that kind of night. Don't leave CO.

That's my cue to log out for the night.

Right in the middle of Ohio. And yes, they tend to use entirely more salt than is sensible.
