So I have a new idea for my truck...since I've never been perfectly happy with the way the sides of my bumper turned out...I may have Matt cut them off and turn it into a hybrid bumper. Like so:

as sharp as they look The functionality is not quite matched up well with wheeling in tight trails in the southeast. They are made for minimal protection for collision resistance and allowing maximum travel. Imagine hitting a deer with that tubing. You would destroy your front end. Not saying that tubing isnt strong. Just simply stating that there isnt enough there to protect your vehicle fully. But i would be happy with the sides on your bumper either. I would make him fix it! We had this discussion at the meet. I would be very nice about it and bring up your concerns and tell him that if you want him to rep his name then he should make it not look like poo and not square.

lol you confused me @dcoursler putting your response in my quote like that. I'm not real worried about collision honestly, I would believe they would hold up to a deer just fine. Rear ending a vehicle or something would be dumbassery on my part and would more than likely be front and center. I would have caused a ruckus about the bumper had it been a professional company or whatnot, but mine was one of the first learning curve bumpers for him and for the price I'm in on it I won't be a turd to a friend. Having to go back and add a gusset possibly would work but possibly would be more effort than just cutting and putting tubes there.

    why do you say that?

Yeah i confused myself too. I havent had enough coffee yet. I need minimum 4 pots to function properly. My comment is pure opinion take it as you will @stronghammer . But that is the way i would handle it. I am a perfectionist. And hence why literally almost everyday i am tinkering on my truck

This is the dave with hair, I think I will come to the mod meet.
Probably just hang out for little while though, looks like ya'll will be pretty busy.
Would like to ask though, if anyone here has done the yellow wire mod? (I think that's what it's called)
