Yea. Good thing is, all the work is done by toyota, right down the street.
Bet deez nutz if I have any issues whatsoever, i'll come a knocking and shit will be made right.
Good news is, all the items listed have been bothering me for a very long time. Alot of the time I wheel by myself on my way up home to indiana. I quit doing that because I was so paranoid about breaking down on some trail at 3am. With all new suspension last year and now all this other stuff, I should ve golden.

My short list of what could have happened could point to the lug nuts not playing nice with the chromoly shafts. They are deep and could possibly have fused themselves.
I didnt paint the face of the axles and there was a considerable amount of rust on the axle flange.
    New 4340 axles on order.

funny you should mention HITT. I just found out that I have a relatively long time family friend who's a VP of one of their divisions. he works out of their DC location, but may be able to pull some Charleston strings for me. I've actually also applied to a couple of jobs directly with bosch as well. Looking into Volvo, but haven't contacted them yet.

yeah, a friend of mine from school was working for them out in Washington state. she was given the option to take a layoff, or transfer to Charleston. her and her husband had been wanting to move to NC for some time, so she had the company move them to Charleston, and then put in her two weeks shortly after that. was a lot cheaper for them to move from SC to NC on their dime, than from all of the way across the country

the bussing doesn't bother me very much. I've been working on a very high security job for the last 3 years. gotta park at an offsite location and take a buss to the facility. ads about 15 minutes to your commute in each direction.

Thank you for the heads up on them. you can only find so much out about a company from sites like glass door, and while I know a number of their current employees, none of them worked in Charleston. I truly appreciate the insight from someone who has worked closely with them.

Thats a pretty fair price in my book.
    Another what?....$3k for the conversion.
After 15 yrs, I think I would actually cry if anything happened to this truck.
    Were attached at the hip.
