I just purchased an XD 9. I like the look of it and from what I have heard it is a nice firearm. Any comments on it?

I think i might have paid too much for it though. $599 + taxes. Got an extra hi cap mag. Maybe get a free box of ammo for free too.

Nice Looking pistol. I have not shot one but I will soon have a Springfield 1911. So the company does make good guns. That is a pretty good price though. They go for about $650 here in NorCal where I purchased mine. They seem to be about the same price as the Glocks here.
The ammo for the 9 is pretty cheap compared to the 40 or 45. I have bought Bulk ammo by remington UMC 115 gr for 250 rds for $50 at WalMart.

I am going to get walmart ammo. I cant afford the big stuff. I will get one box of the home defense. Walmart is by far the cheapest though. Got 550 rds for my ruger mkIII 22/45 for like $13. Cant beat that deal.

8 day waiting period on all handguns. Now if it was a assault rifle, rifle or a shotgun (The deadlier weapons) there is no waiting period. Something is messed up.
