It's all fun and dandy untill you get hit with an 8 point reckless driving ticket for hauling ass on a dirt road. Resist the urge... :p

Money is no issue. You bail yourself out, pay the fines and you have a license from one of the states that don't recognize points from out of state. That's how the rich fools did it for the gumball rally. IIRC there are quite a few states like this.

Must be how @kashtyaatsi gathers it, and why he likes the tires.

I don't know, just pulled it off of google. I've killed every brand tire I have owned with a sidewall puncture excluding Bias Ply Super Swampers. Though I will say my old MTRs were really weak in the sidewall any radial tire is not a superstar in that department. If anyone besides @Star-Lord has a question why, google Bias Ply and Radial tire construction and you will see why.

I actually googled the Duratrac and the side walls match.

In all fairness, yes radials puncture easier. I had a 37" swamper take a 3" diameter dead tree through the side wall at 12psi. All the air went away immediately. That was the one time, I've mentioned it here before, that I didn't have a spare with me.

I'll have to see if I can scan in a picture from the mid 90s of a full rock stuck in the sidewall of my BFG MT. It was about 8" around that I pulled out of the Rocker Knocker rock pile. Insta-flat. That, to date, has been my worst sidewall puncture and is the reason I always carry a full sized spare with me. Driving back from Moab on 3 35" tires and one 30" tire was not fun, I was running loc-rites to boot.

Man that is an old pic, no one runs the white lettering to the outside since the 80's I think.

The thing I leared about side wall with any tire. If you rub on any rock, it will slice it like a hot knife through butter. If you don't cut it your lucky. It's always in my mind on a daily basses. A 200-300 tire is nothing compared to a 3000-6000 tire. It's a mind set for me.

Basically what I'm saying is that if you slide on your side wall on stuff expect a cut no matter what if you walk away with a scratch your lucky. It's just what's going to happen.

Once I get a puncture I might be more careful, but I have a thick skull so we'll see.
