Okay...after seeing many pictures of a reg. cab lifted I've decided to go ahead and lift mine. Now, this will be my first project with lifting a vehicle and I'm not sure exactly what I need to get. I have two questions. 1) is if I get a 2.5 inch leveling kit for my taco (08, 4x2) is that all I ill need ? Will I need anything for the back of the truck or will it sit pretty ? and 2) is what to do about shocks ? Can I ride on stock with a leveling kit or do I need to upgrade shocks as well ? Remember...this is my first truck and lifting is a big deal and I want it to look right. So what's the right way to go ? Just purchasing a leveling kit is offly cheap but I can't help but think there's more to it. Any advice would really help me out.

do the front first ,see how it looks, every lift is different.if you think that it needs a little lift in the rear you through in a addaleaf in the rear.very simple to do the rear of the truck
