Lol, people so insecure about other vehicles. I'd rock a hilux anyday. It's more of a "real truck" than a Tacoma is anyway.

Get rid of all the graphics and it actually looks pretty cool. Not sure about TONKA... I guess it would be cool if I was what 6 years old or something.....

Utility. Trucks were made to be work vehicles. Then people bitch about mpgs, harsh ride, no creature comforts then the new ridgeline comes out and addresses all these issues. Then people bitch about how soft it looks and that it's not a real truck. Who cares.

If you've ever driven/had a Hilux, and I have, these are more durable and spartan than any tacoma. They just don't have to cater to our north american desire to have a truck look "manly" and to be as comfortable to our obese fat asses.

So they just stuck on a bunch of TRD badges and painted the skid red. Still beats talking to the toyota parts department.

:anonymous:Usually I read these types of threads and hate the appearance of the vehicle being discussed... I don't mind this one so much. If it performed better than my taco I'd buy it:anonymous:

If I lived in Australia this is what I would have. The Australians probably think the Tacoma is a bloated ugly piece of crap. It's all about perspective.

It's just as ugly as a standard 3rd gen. Kidding. Take the tonka label off the side and I'd drive it.
