Here are a few photos of my CB's PA speaker is mounted. Its pretty clean and you can not see it when the grill is installed.

Also one of the channels on my 4 channel amp has stopped working and now i need to send it back. The company said they usually have about a 2 week turn around, but that means i will be without tunes for 2 weeks...

I am thinking about hooking up the stock speaker wires, but my 6x9s are only rated to play up to 6.5khz........

I went ahead and re-did the connections behind my head unit with better wire taps. It sounded like my connection to my tweeter was loose so i checked it out, turns out it was fine and probably just the amp going bad, but i wanted to swap the taps anyway.

Thanks! I was sitting at the front of a red light shouting at people with their windows down as they drove by testing it out the other day. Seeing the confused look on peoples faces was priceless!

Changed my rear differential oil, brake pads, and rotors at 78500 miles this weekend. Also changed the oil and rotated the tires in preparation for Big Bend.

Still need to change the front diff oil, transfer case oil, and transmission fluid though. Will probably get that done before Jambo, also need to get some fuel line hose from a local auto parts store for my read diff breather mod.

I need to do the Brakes, but going to do that after Big Bend I think. Going to go over the truck Friday again. How was the rear diff oil?

Brakes are super easy! Diff oil is even easier! Its just a 23mm or 24mm socket, it says 3 quarts of gear oil but my 3 quarts didnt cause any fluid to spill over so you may want to get 4..., and you will probably want an old milk jug or 2 for all the old oil.

Thanks! I still need to drill some holes so the ladder can lock in at a better angle, just need to find the perfect height to angle ratio!

Also my rack isnt as tall as my cab roof, and i think my custom one being built will be even lower than this one so that i will have less wind resistance from the tent while traveling. I would just like to be able to see out the back window, but i think i will have to sacrifice that to save on MPG... Also a lower rack would allow me to park inside the garage with the tent mounted. Im not to sure i can do that right now...

its actually very sturdy! I just need to drill more hole in the ladder track so that i can get a better angle for the ladder to support the weight. I have a drill and drill bits so it should only take a couple minutes and cost 0 doll hairs!
I would be willing to help drink beer and watch/supervise!
Seriously though... if you dont replace the rotors, and we both do a side at the same time, i think we could have it back on the ground in ~10-15 minutes.

I would be fine with that lol. More than likely won't replace the rotors at the moment. Need to take the tires off and see though.

I am going to see if i can find a similar but cheaper alternative. 4 wheel parts sales them for $164 a pair but i will need at least 3 pair for what i want. 4 if i go all out! Thats $650 in lights... need a cheaper option or i may just have to buy them 1 at a time so my bank doesnt feel so hurt!
