what? owning 3 tacos or my voltage drop?

Voltage drop make sense. Stock alt barely puts out any amps at all at idle speed.

I bought it for 2k and was comfortable letting it go around 1.5k for a quick sell. That was before I put the new tires and some other things into it. I offered it at 2.5k to TW since it would probably be fixed up and used.

Since I don't really want to sell it I listed it at 4K for now to see what I would get offered. So far I have a 3k offer in CO but I would have to meet them. Since Lizzy is staying in Laramie I am not too worried about moving it quick. I'll probably be in Lander for 6 months and towards the end of that I would look for a quick sell.

It was definitely a good platform for someone to start with. It was cherry, and one owner before I bought.

Soulless poser without matching clothes...that does fit my description to a T! How did you know!!

Oh well, poser I may be, but I keep meeting just th raddest, most driven, action sports focused people of any place I've been, so I'm fitting right in!

I too was/am a poser, funny thing is just 15 years ago Jackson was a lot different place than it is now. It bears absolutely no resemblance to its former self to those lucky enough to have moved in the '80's. As previously stated, my description to people who have never been; It's beautiful, but the people are exhausting.

What my aunt says about Aspen CO too. Used to great fun total ski bum town. Now it's an Elitist town. The house they have had in their family since the 50s cost like 1.3 mil in taxes just to keep it..h

Oh and i forgot @m3bassman but i got my dad's current meter out to check my lights but it is fucked up somehow. Was reading .4 amps haha and barely 1 amp for my Ham radio on High power. So something isn't right with it. That and he doesn't really know how to use it. But thought it was funny.

I'm very aware of the change in atmosphere from the 80s to now. Believe me I wish I could have been here for that. But I'm not. And I can't think of a whole lot of places that have such extreme and close recreational opportunities. Boise? Yep did that, not as intense. Salt lake? The only other real option. But I'm not ready to settle down in a big city yet. Whitefish mt seems to be a decent ski bum town...honestly I've been nothing but smiles since being here and love everyone I've met. So we can go back and forth forever....but if a persons attitude is one thing they will see everything in that perspective. If you stay positive you'll see the positives in things and not let the negatives be too much of a bother

Yup. And a resort dude I shall remain. I'm trying to manage a schedule for 3 of jobs, an acct job at hotel/resort, another basic bitch pt acct job at JHMR (to get my foot in the door) and a ropes course guide at my current resort. If I get really lucky, I'll do 5 10s and have 2 days a week off.

A week into my current pt acct job I've already been offered a full time staff acct position...and at the rate things change I could be an asst controller within a year lol. But I don't really want 40 hrs of desk job right now. I'll go bat shit crazy

I hope it goes without saying that all my jabs are in good fun. It's just life that all the desirable locations are cost prohibitive, Jackson, Monterey, San Diego/Del Mar/La Jolla/Encinitas. For all the negatives I haven't been able to bring myself to leave in the last 15 years, something about the Tetons just feels like home. Some of us are just doomed to act against our best financial self interest;)

its jackson, ill still be broke. especially after i outfit my stash of gear...need some upgrades in the bike, climbing and rafting department :( these jobs should be pretty flexible, so if i wanted longer weekends every so often it shouldnt be too hard to do.
true that.. its why its so hard to live any of those places. theyre rad and everyone wants to give it a try. psshh against financial best interest. you can say that again!
